Details:
This 50's vintage sleeveless dress with full skirt is just what you need to stay cool and stylish on those hot summer days.
It features a khaki and white stripe cotton fabric with trompe l'oeil Faux Black Lace accents down the front bodice and around the skirt. It has a side metal zipper. There are belt loops which can be cut off if not used. We suggest wearing a wide black belt as shown in some pictures (not included).
The bodice has bust darts and there are front and back darts from the waist. Two small black bows accentuate the square neckline.
Measurements are:
Bust: 37 inches
Waist: 28 inches
Hips: Free
Bodice Length from Shoulder to Waist: 14 inches
Skirt Length from Waist to Hem: 25 1/4 inches
Condition:
This dress is in very good vintage condition and has been freshly laundered. The black accent bows are a little faded and can be removed and/or replaced. There were two small 1/4 inch tears at the back waist on one side (see picture below) which have been repaired. These were probably from a belt rubbing the area. A belt would hide any evidence of repair and the fabric is strong and sturdy.
