Vintage Clothesline presents a 60s vintage sunshine yellow two-piece summer dress ensemble by designer Ben Barrack, New York, with embroidered daisies. This is quality workmanship at its finest and you will not be disappointed. There is no size indicated but it fits my size 6 / 8 manni nicely and has a bust measurement of around 36 - 37 1/2 inches. Please see all measurements below for proper fit.



Do you think Oscar de la Renta was inspired by Barrack in this yellow dress seen on a recent Spring runway? I imagine so. Yellow is such a trendy color this Spring, too.





The dress is actually two pieces. It has a full dress with back metal zipper which has the linen rayon blend skirt and a sleeveless acetate top. This is covered by the sleeveless boxy jacket top which fastens with covered buttons down the back. There is a self tie belt.

The cut and fit are just superb.







The seams are pinked.



Beautiful white, yellow and green daisies are machine embroidered in a satin stitch.

Bust: 37 1/2 inches.
Length from Shoulder to Hem: 16 inches.

DRESS:
Bust: 36 inches.
Waist: 26 1/2 inches.
Hips: 37 3/4 inches.
Bodice Length from Shoulder to Waist: 15 inches.
Skirt Length from Waist to Hem: 23 inches.

Condition:
The condition is VERY GOOD with just a few issues.

One of the threaded belt loops on one side has come unstitched and just needs to be reattached. There is a tiny small hole in the front bodice of the acetate of the dress which can just be whipstitched in matching thread. This will not be seen anyway since the top is worn over it. There is a light (and I mean light) circle stain on the front hem. In fact, I saw it while pressing and took a picture of it and now I cannot see it at all. The material is strong and sturdy. The material is somewhat nubby but this is just indicative of the linen material.
