Vintage Clothesline is proud to present an early 60s vintage 2-piece dress and jacket ensemble made of a blue and brown cotton mini paisley print that is perfect for Summer, but will take you right into Fall and Winter. The rich blues and toasty browns with a touch of white and black will match almost any accessory. There is no label or size tag but the bust of the dress measures 39 inches. See all measurements further below for proper fit.

We have lightened this next picture a bit to show detail. The bodice has a rounded neckline and cap sleeves. There are bust darts and back darts running from the waist up to give shape and form. The skirt falls in gentle pleating from the waist and has a kickpleat at back lower hem. It is completely lined in black cotton as is the body of the jacket (not the sleeves).

The back of the dress fastens with a long *metal* zipper and a metal hook at top.

The matching bolero jacket, so classic and stylish with a Grace Kelly flair, has a small notched collar and three quarter sleeves. It is just the right length to fall at the waistline and accentuate this feature.

Waist: 28 1/2 inches.

Hips: 41 inches.

Shoulder Width Back Seam to Seam: 14 1/2 - 15 inches.

Sleeve Length from Top: 5 inches.

Bodice Length from Shoulder to Waist: 15 inches.

Skirt Length from Waist to Hem: 24 inches.

JACKET:

Bust: 43 1/2 inches Around.

Length from Shoulder to Hem: 17 inches.

Sleeve Length from Top: 16 inches.

Shoulder Width Back Seam to Seam: 15 3/4 inches.

Condition:

The condition is EXCELLENT with no rips or tears. There are threaded belt loops on the dress but no belt. We think it looks fine without a belt but it would be easy to add one from your own wardrobe. We notice that the black lining at the hem of the dress is not hemmed. However, it is not raveling and was probably made this way. This outfit has been in storage and will probably need to be dry cleaned upon receipt.
